El equipo de la congregacion de tatita entrevisto a una alma perdida de las que fue al concierto, pidiendole nos relatrara su experiencia…

Consegui el boleto porque un amigo de Hermosillo (radicado en Agua Prieta) fan de maiden me paso su boleto pues desgraciadamente no pudo ir por chamba (me lo paso al costo… esos son amigos, no chingaderas), el boleto era para el area de cancha, asi que ese mismo dia me fui sobre los de avion, pidiendo tarjeta de credito prestada consegui un viva aerobus (de esos que tienen de lema: si abordas y no llegas, te devuelven tu lana xD), total, que en el aeropuerto habia un chingo de raza con camisetas de maiden, que aunque no nos conociamos, en chinga nos acoplamos, muchos eran de Obregon, otros de Hermosillo, todos ibamos a donde mismo, alla en Monterrey llegue con un compa bien chilo que chambea en la misma empresa y lo conoci en unos cursos, me dio quebrada de dormir en su casa y me hizo un parote con los raites a todos lados…

llegue a la arena Monterrey con una raza de Agua Prieta como a las 12 directo a la cola (habia algo de cola ya, los primeros llegaron desde el miercoles), ahi conoci a 2,3 raza de Monterrey, pues ahi en la cola comimos (pollo) y nos cuidabamos el lugar cuando saliamos a comprar (o dejar) agua desde temprano los revendedores y ambulantes anduvieron como buitres, hicieron su agosto. ya despues de las 8 de la noche ya cuando estabamos pasando se veia gente paseando por la fila con letreros como “toda mi coleccion de Iron Maiden por 2 boletos” ya al entrar como era la general, me tendi hacia la bola de gente en un rato empezo a tocar la banda de Lauren Harris quien prendio bastanta aun con el estilo que traia, pero pues siendo hija del steve Harris, aunque hubiera tocado pasito duranguense hubiera prendido a la raza… y empezaron los empujones, al principio me seirvieron para irme acercando, pues llegue a estar 4 cabezas atras del escenario, pero no llegaba el aire y por lo mismo el calor era mucho, no te podias mover, el bolon de gente era el que te decia pa donde ibas, y eso que yo tengo bastante grasita protectora, en ese inter en uno de los empujones me bañaron de cerveza se oian frases como “se la estan mamando raza”,”tanto que cuide mi virginidad para venirla a perder aqui” y en las pantallas del estadi decia “por favor no aventarse”…

En eso empieza el video de introduccion con transilvania (grabada) de fondo… en el video eran imagenes principalmente del ED FORCE ONE (el avion), desde ahi los coros se empezaron a escuchar, hasta que se empezo a oir a aviones y el discurso de CHURCHILL siguiendole Aces High los empujones se agravaron, no se podia respirar pero no impedia empezar a gritar la rola pues todos la estaban cantando, en el lugar ese aguante 2 rolas, esa y la de 2 minutes, ya que habia visto a parte de la banda de cerca me fui un poco mas atras para ver el concierto sin preocuparme de como respirar traia la camiseta empapada de sudor, parecia que me habian echado un balde de agua, me la tuve que quitar y de ahi fue brinco tras brinco y grito tras grito, toda la arena cantando y gritando, entra rolas se oian coros que no dejaban hablar a Dickinson, rola tras rola me sentia mas cansado con mucha sed, pero no me salia porque no iba a poder volver a donde estaba, pero el cansancio solo se sentia entre rola y rola, pues al iniciar la siguiente, quien sabe de donde sacaba fuerzas para seguirle brincando y gritando… asi siguieron rola tras rola el coro mas impresionante fue el de el inicio de Fear of the dark, donde dificilmente se oia la voz del Bruce, el setlist, fue el mismo que tocaron en otros paises:

En la de Iron Maiden, salio el Eddie Cyborg (El de Somewhere in time), metiendose un rato dejando que los coros ensordecedores de la Arena Monterrey sigueran (OEEE OEEE, OEEE OEEE, OEEE OEEE, MEIDEN, MEIDEN) saliendo a tocar las ultimas 3, al acabar todos empezamos a salir, se veia de todo, niños con sus papas, jovenes gente bastante grande, fresitas, gente de traje, saliendo me compre una botellita de 500 ml de agua en 25 pesos, ches ratas que por cierto no me sirvio pa ni madres.. me fui a un auto servicio (extra) que esta enfrente que habia cola para entrar, una de las 2 botellas de 1.5 lts de agua la pague ya vacia, pues me la terminer antes de llegar a la caja…

Hermosillo se viste de gala al recibir a los maximos representantes del heavy metal, La cita sera en el Estadio castro servin de la Universidad de Sonora el 25 de Febrero de 2008 a las 8:00 PM, como parte de la gira 2008 que hace la banda, inicialmente solo venian a Monterrey y al DF pero despues de ver un post en rocksonora, un promotor local contacto a la agencia y se logro concretar la fecha para nuestra bella ciudad, se menciona que una de las razones por las que vienen es por que Steve Harris ha oido mucho que Hermosillo es la capital mundial de la carne asada (con eso del record guiness) y quiere ir a comer al Xochimilco o a la Siesta.

Comentan los organizadores que ersta todo listo, ya se aparto la fecha en el aeropuerto local para que aterrice el jet de la banda a las 10 de la mañana del dia 24 de febrero.

Las bandas abridoras estan entre Khafra y Neumatrax, seria genial que estuvieran ambas…

1. A banquet was held in the splendid castle in the season of the cherry blossom.
Where is the light now, that shadowed the glasses and flew through the old pines?

2. (The second verse is difficult. There are many interpretations of the text.)
The encampment was covered with frost in the autumn.
Where is the light now, that shone on the swords like plants, that were as numerous as the cackling wild geese, that flew ?

3. Now there is the moon over the desolate castle.
Whom is it shining for without change?
Only tendrils remain on the walls.
Only the storm sings between branches of the pines.

4. The shadow of the sky doesn’t change. But the moon is reflecting it as before, changing for better to worse? Ah! The moon over the desolate castle!

‘Kojo no Tsuki’ was published in ‘Songs for High School Students’ by the ‘Tokyo Music School’, that is nowadays known as ‘Tokyo Natiolnal University of Fine Arts and Music’, in 1901. The school asked Bansui Doi to write lyrics for 3 new songs including ‘Kojo no Tsuki’. After the school had gotten the all the lyrics, it held a musical prize. Three pieces by Rentaro Taki were selected including ‘Kojo no Tsuki’.

About the poet and the lyric
Bansui Doi 1871 - 1952 was an Anglicistand a democrat. He was born in Sendai on October 23, 1871. His actual name was Rinkichi Tsutsii. He studied at the ‘Tokyo - Teikoku - University’ (the nowadays known as Tokyo - University). He published under his pen name ‘Bansui’. When he wrote ‘Kojo no Tsuki’ (see below.), he was a student taking his doctorate and a teacher at Ikubunkan ・High School. He became a professor at the ‘Second Senior High School’ (the nowadays known as Tohoku - University). He studied in London, Paris and Leipzig in Germany from 1901 to 1904. He met the composer of ‘Kojo no Tsuki’, Rentaro Taki in London, when Taki was on the way back to Japan (see below). Then he taught again at the ‘Second Senior High School’ and the ‘Tohoku Teikoku University’ (the nowadays known as Tohoku University). After he had retired in 1934, he devoted himself to writing. He changed the reading of his last name ‘Tsutsii’ to ‘Doi’, as he was popularly known as. Bansui’s daughter had passed away, and her final request was that the family be known as ‘Doi’, not Tsutsii. So Bansui wanted to be known as ‘Doi’ from now on to respect his daughter’s last wishes. His private life was not so happy. During World War II, he lost his house with about 30,000 books and he lost all his five children before the war. His students and the supporters in Sendai had his house ‘Bansui ・Sodo’ rebuilt. He died there on October 19, 1952.

Bansui had heard about the ‘Aizu Wakamatsu (Tsuru ga - Jo)’ (’Tsuru’ means a ‘crane’, ‘ga’ means ‘of’ and ‘Jo’ means a ‘castle’.) and the Boshin War (The War from the end of the Tokugawa shogunate to the beginning of the Meiji era) from his father and his grandfather, since he was a child. He went the Tsuru - ga - Jo ruined castle as a student of ‘Second Senior High School’. He was impressed by the ruined castle very much.

When Bansui was asked to write the lyrics, he quickly remembered the Tsuru ・ga - Jo and a poem by Yaeko Yamamoto. Before the castle capitulated, she wrote the poem on the wall in the castle with an arrow. The meaning was “Who he will see the shadow of the moon from tomorrow, that remains in the great castle?” She later became the wife of Jo Niijima, who was the founder of ‘Doshisha University’. Then he remembered the poem by Masamune Date, who was the feudal lord of Sendai, where Bansui was born. Inspired by the two ruined castles Bansui wrote ‘Kojo no Tsuki’.

After WWII Bansui was disheartened, what with the loss of his house and his children. The people of Aizu wanted to offer their support and encouragement. They invited Bansui to Aizu. They prepared a special stone in the castle grounds upon which Bansui wrote the lyrics of ‘Kojo no Tsuki’. They also held a festival at that time.

There are five memorials to ‘Kojo no Tsuki’ in Japan in Takeda(1934), Aizu Wakamastu(1947), Sendai(1952), Chiyodaku Ichibancho in Tokyo (1964), Nihohe in Iwate(1996). The one in Tokyo is written in musical notes.

About the composer and the music

Rentaro Taki was born in Tokyo on August 24, 1879. His father worked for local government. His father was transferred to various prefectures, so Rentaro grew up in Tokyo, Yokohama, Toyama, Oita, and Takeda in Oita prefecture. He entered Tokyo Music School (now know as Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music) at 15 years old. (the records show he was 16 years old - but this is using the calculating age, a child was one year old when he was born.) In the Meiji era it was not unusual for a gifted student in his mid teens to be admitted to university, however Taki was considered very young.

After his undergraduate studies, he remained at school as a post graduate student and a teacher. At this time he took part in the ‘Songs for High School Students’ competition.

After the competition Taki was selected to study abroad in Leipzig in Germany. However he fell ill, and studied only about 3 or 4 months. It was decided that he should return to Japan, accompanied by a Japanese doctor. On his return journey from Hamburg to London, Bansui met the ship at London and thanked Taki for composing the music to ‘Kojo no Tsuki’.

After Taki returned to Japan, he lived in Tokyo for a short time. He went to Oita for a funeral of his cousin, but tragically Taki also died in Oita at only 23 years old on June 29, 1903.

In writing ‘Kojo no Tsuki’ Taki used many eighth notes. The Original had only 8 bars. Kosaku Yamada changed the music using fourth notes and 16 bars. (Yamada was one of the most famous composers in Japan and had studied in Berlin. )

The Original had a sharp (#) on the eleventh note (”e”in “hana no e - n”). But the song has been published and sung without the sharp for a long time. I arranged both. The Original had a dot not on “Chi” in “Chiyo no matsu ga e”, but on “tsu”.

Para todos los incredulos de que la musica “metal pesado” es maligna, y esto no solo es aplicable a RBD, miren lo que ocasiona en este pobre animalito del sr. al ponerle una cancion de una banda llamada airon meiden, quenes son abiertamente satanistas, imaginense, tienen una cancion que se llama “el numero de la bestia”, el cual es el 666 el numero de el diablo, satanas, malo, tutu…

Noten como en la parte del requinto lucha con su subconciente para tratar de librase de la posesion en curso, pero las malas vibras demoniacas son mas fuertes

Es asi que es imperante que si tienes cds de esta musica distorsionada, los quiebres y los quemes, y por cada uno que tengas, daras $1500 MXP de diezmo en tu congregacion mas cercana del O.D. y corras a comprarte la coleccion mas nueva de los exitos de la academia azteca.

Asi tambien ve y gritales “salven su vida pecadores!!!” a todos los malvivientes que van a esas cosas llamadas “conciertos de rock” que no son mas que una misa negra colectiva y centro de vicio….

Se le envio este video a Carlos Trejo, para que dirija una investigacion seria y objetiva como solo el las sabe hacer…

To tie in with forthcoming 2008 releases on DVD of the classic ‘LIVE AFTER DEATH’ and ‘MAIDEN ENGLAND’ concert videos (more details coming soon) this tour, aptly entitled ‘SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME’, will revisit the band’s history by focusing almost entirely on the 80’s in both choice of songs played and the stage set, which will be based around the legendary Egyptian Production of the 1984-85 ‘Powerslave Tour’. This will arguably be the most elaborate and spectacular show the band have ever presented, and will include some key elements of their Somewhere In Time tour of 1986/7, such as the Cyborg Eddie.

Me rolaron el DVD de Stryper en Puerto Rico..

El sonido se oye 2,3 y Pus nomas me sonaron las rolas que oi por alla por la secu , las del disco “to hell with the devil”… ya no salen tan con sus moditas “tan glam” el vocalista ya no trai el pelo como la Veronica Castro, y las mallitas se les iban a ver medio ridis… pero el baterista sigue con sus sombreritos “inventivos”, aun asi conservan la escencia del buen heavy ochentero…
